Q: Anyone else have flickering/ghosting keyboard on iphone 5?

Same here. Happened twice. Both time entering my password in the App Store. Tried to reproduce it but couldn't. Black 16gb iPhone 5

I have the same problem only happens every now and then. I rang apple and she told me to do a restore if that doesnt work take it to apple store in perth (impossible to get an apointment) for a replacement if they have stock. I questioned her if it was possinle ios6 problems and i have been having sound issues and she couldnt comment so bit suss

I also added the Emoji keyboard, although this problem is really hard to duplicate, I'll try it.

As I posted before, I experienced the problem also on the search screen for several times, so I don't think this problem is limited only to the App Store.

I had the same issue today when entering password in the App store and my password's first letter is uppercase.  The flickering lasted for a few seconds.  But I also noticed the flickering once when I was reading news but could not remember which website it was. 

Add me to the list - glad (?) to hear that I'm not alone.

Hopefully Apple will have some sort of fix for this...

it happened for me once as well during the first set up, I had trouble entering my wifi pw and sign in to app Store..but so far it seems ok now, hopefully it is just a temporary glitch

I also had this issue once so far. My sound issue is frequent sound comes and goes, like when I'm sliding to unlock,or entering pin or locking the iPhone.

Same issue, only on the App Store password request. I think it's a pure software issue, otherwise it would happen more often and elsewhere.

I just had it happen again on the App Store keyboard, and decided to try to take a screenshot while it was happening. The screenshot comes up clean, and indeed the 'flash' to white that accompanies it clears the problem, just as flipping the keyboard would. I'm sorry to say I think this is a hardware problem. In the absence of any help or comment on the issue from Apple I think I'm going to go for an exchange in-store and see if I can get a working unit.

Also, I have now had it happen once outside of that particular keyboard, during a folder opening animation.
