I purchased my iPhone 5 today for Sprint. The App store has been terribly slow and I am wondering if others are having this issue? Is this a luanch day high volume bandwith issue w/ the apple store, or device related? This is happening on both of our iPhone 5's.

I am in Chicago and my reception and 3G data is Terrible. I cannot download a Flashlight app and everytime I get a call it cuts in and out. 10 minutes before the iPhone 5 activation, my Evo worked like a charm. What is going on?
I also just got the iPhone 5 on Sprint here in Tampa, FL. The 3G seems way slower than my previous HTC EVO (also on Sprint). Also, the coverage does not seem as good. I used to be able to access websites from my phone at my office on my old phone in a matter of seconds, but with the iPhone it is taking minutes. Very strange... The WiFi does not work unless within three feet of a router too. Maybe it's a related software issue?

I've also created a Sprint 3G speed test video on the iPhone 5. The speed is pretty bad; however, yesterday I was having speed issues on WiFi, but today that is not the case. http://youtu.be/n1vmfHAMDok
I've been having the same trouble. The first day i bought it, the app store and all other software on phone worked well. After 2 or 3 days it slowed down worse than any other phone i've owned. My HTC Evo worked quicker than this. I don't know if i should go and exchange the phone, or just get another EVO....c'mon Apple, help us out!!!!! Make that 700+/share work for us!!! Dont disappoint us!
Also, it says 3G on my phone, why we gettin charged for 4G if we can't mess with it?
this has been an issue with Sprint for a while. i had the iPhone 4S on sprint and 3G data speeds were horribly slow. MANY people were having issues with their iPhone 4S on Sprint.
Check out http://community.sprint.com/baw/thread/78766?tstart=0 for more information. You guys are not alone. i just recently switched to Verizon for the iPhone 5 because of this. i don't mind paying more with Verizon because i get speeds i can actually use.
