Mac mini and IOGear GCS1774 KVM

Hi all, just got a dual core Mac Mini and I'm trying to set it up. Got it all plugged into my IOGear KVM but the Mac doesn't seem to recognize the USB connections and therefore either the USB mouse or keyboard connected to the KVM.

Any suggestions? 😟

While you're just setting everything up (i.e. when you're at the OS X welcome screen), you should just connect your keyboard and mouse directly to the mini. When everything's set up, you can try using the USB ports on the KVM switch again.

So is it just the USB ports that aren't working, or does the whole switch not work with the mini? Do you have any more computers connected to it besides the mini and other PC? If you do, try plugging the mini's cables into the ports you were using for the second or third PC.
