I can't install anything on my mac.. Anyone knows y?

I'm not sure what the problem could be... when you select Software Update, do items show up as ready to be installed? When you download, for instance, a disk image from the Internet can you open the disk image. No idea what could be wromg with your computer - can you give a few more specifics as to what happens when you try to install something? Any error messages, etc.?

I had the same problem yesterday. I suppose linked with IOS 6.

My Apple store was badly located in the country where I am at the moment and not in the normal one. Change back to the good country and it will work.

I don't think that your problem has anything to do with your Internet connection, though. If I were you, I would make a Time Machine backup, erase your hard drive, and install a clean system. Then retsore from your TM backup. Something whacky is going on and I don't know what. A clean install would like fix all of your problems. Here's hoping that you have your original install disc(s) and an external for backup.

The developer's download link is down. What version of OS X are you running?

Backup, then download & install the 10.6.8 Combo Update. None of your files or data should be touched, but backup first anyway:

Any update here? i have the exact same problem except that i'm running OSX Lion 10.7.5

yea is there any update on a solution? This just recently happened to me and like dave salyers i am also running 10.7.5

any one have good solutions of this because of this problem i can not make any thing not even antivirus if any virus problem is there.
