Can't open passbook. No connection iTunes store. Changing date/time is not THE solution.

I can' t open passbook. There is no connection to THE iTunes store. I changed The year into 2013 as recommended, but it did not offer THE solution to THE problem. Does anyone knows what to do?

iPhone 4S, iOS 6

Same here. I've tried all of the 'solutions' I've found and the only thing that has 'worked' is manually adding a card—but then that's the only card I can see. Trashing the card returns me to the 'Cannot connect to iTunes' situation. iPhone 4S, iPhone 5 scheduled to arrive next week.

I'd think that this Passbook problem along with the 'Maps' fiasco has put another ding in Apple's reputation.

I called and the solution was to turn off the phone and turn it back on. I did that and it didn't work....so I tried turning it off and then turning it back on while holding down the start button. That worked believe it or not...Now, thru passbook, it still says cannot connect, but go ahead and press charts, or whatever and it DOES connect! YAY!!!! It's worth a try!
