AppStore Updates & Software Updates Failing
Hi All,
I'm running OS X Lion (v10.7.5) on a mid-2012 MBA.
Within the past 48 hours, both the App Store and Software Updates have started to show errors when I try to download/update software. Both applications were working fine beforehand.
For the App Store, error reads "We could not complete your purchase. Unknown Error". For Software Update, error reads "The Update XYZ can't be installed. A network error has occurred. Check your internet connection and try again". Please see the screenshots & log entries below for more details.
I've tried the following fixes with no effect:
- restart the MBA
- turn wifi on/off and check internet connection
- login/logout of account (for App Store)
- deleting the com.apple.appstore folder in \Library\Cache (for App Store)
- upgraded from OS X v10.7.4 to v10.7.5 (I used the Support Downloads page on the Apple website for this)
- verify and repair disk permissions
Any help any one could provide would be greatly appreciated. If you need any further information please let me know.

Steps to re-create: launch App Store --> Login to account --> Go to Purchases --> Select any item to download/update

Software Update
Steps to recreate: launch Software Update --> select Check Now --> select Install
