Oct 9, 2012 1:40 PM in response to SandroDby nnarum,I was going off usage. Not stand by.
(Hour)60 divided by 3 minutes = 20. 20 x 1% = 20% per hour. 5 hours of usage before battery dead.
What kind of math is this? Where are you getting your numbers?
Here is mine:
I didn't get to a 100% charge this morning. I only got to 98% before I had to go to work.
So I have 3.15 hours of usage. That would equal 9.26 hours of usage. Or 9 hours and 15 minutes of usage when converting the decimal back to minutes. This is considering that I didn't get the full 100% charge today.

Oct 9, 2012 1:54 PM in response to holdregeby help00,so then i would say go with the iPhone 4s? would that be correct? or should i get the iPhone 5?

Oct 9, 2012 1:57 PM in response to help00by nnarum,Get the 5 if you're using an upgrade. You can always switch it to 3g mode if LTE is spotty in your area.
Plus with an upgrade, you usually sign a 2 year contract. Don't get stuck with old tech.
I honestly believe the main battery issue is LTE. When I turn it off, my battery lasts way longer.

Oct 9, 2012 1:57 PM in response to help00by Nick Gomogda,Anyone elses iPhone stop showing usage statistics for "Time since last full charge"? I'm really trying to analyze my battery life using some of the recs on this discussion but all it shows is 2 dashes. It's been happening since yesterday. I ran til the battery was depleted last night then charged to 100%. All usage and diagnostic settings are still set to ON.

Oct 9, 2012 1:59 PM in response to nnarumby help00,okay so go with the 5 I am a bit concerned with the glitches though what about those?

Oct 9, 2012 2:03 PM in response to help00by nnarum,You'll be fine. I had a 4 before. There really aren't any glitches I've seen with the 5.
Just mainly people getting ones that have scratches or dings. Which you can just exchange it anyway.
The other gripe people have is the lack of accessories and the battery issue.
