Q: iPhone 5 battery life is way worse than iPhone 4

That would be my guess also.. id say the patches are requiring reloading of data from the phone onto iCloud...

If this is right, then the phone on over night for 2-3 nights and on a charger should see it even out nicely..

What the, I don't see anything on 6.0.1 that should improve my battery life. Does this mean I have to wait for 6.1?

Guess it't time to break out the portable battery charger. Just wish it wasn't so heavy.

I just sort of thought maybe the battery thing was a secret issue since they have made no statements about it.  I thought maybe they'd just have a fix for it in there without mentioning it...Maybe/Maybe not?

Keja, fair enough, but from what have seen, folks have being expressive but civil... You maybe misunderstanding the tone of their posts and reacting but you are doing so unneccessary. From my viewpoint and Im sure many others, the offensive language and posturing seems to be coming from you and met with civil yet humourous sarcasm. I would not get so worked up over a possible misunderstanding and if nothing else, leaving the profanity out of your posts would be a great help...

I hope you are right.

Iphone, if my obversations and resulting deducing is correct, you will find the interaction with the carrier on data in particular will resolve the bug on battery usage. I have not read up on it, but from reading the posts here, it appears to be in the patch list. I suppose only time will tell..

same here... i've already gotten some crash logs in "diagnosis data" but i dont know what they mean
