Nov 28, 2012 4:12 PM in response to holdregeby AlwaysLookin4Answers,My iPhone 4 says: 3.7v / 1420mAh would that be accurate for the iPhone 4? Guys we really need to get to the bottom of this.. I heard rumors of them knowing about bad batteries beforehand and sending the phone out regardless. Looks like that is really what happened.. Not ok.

Nov 28, 2012 4:24 PM in response to HwyHawk1976by CliffHNZ,I'm going to try to write to both of these app creators and ask if they are pulling readings via an API or posting a number from a spec sheet. It's very VERY odd that you get 1424mAh from one and 1440mAh from another if they are indeed reading this from the phone as opposed to posting a number.

Nov 28, 2012 4:43 PM in response to MX14by CliffHNZ,Mine is showing as 1440 in that app as well. I've written to both authors and asked the question of whether or not this is a reading or a number they have hard coded (posting) into that particular list of stats. I would make the argument that the app I posted is doing actual readings since we have two different voltage numbers from an iPhone 5.

Nov 28, 2012 5:01 PM in response to CliffHNZby HwyHawk1976,Found another app but too cheap to pay $2.99 for it when it is displaying 1440mAh in the screen shots so it might b bias. App is called System Status if any one wants to go out on a limb and test it.

Nov 28, 2012 5:27 PM in response to CliffHNZby HwyHawk1976,That 360 Battery Saver app might b accurate. Just checked the wife's iphone 4S and it showed 1420mAh. Not the 1432 as advertised so I dont know what to think.

Nov 28, 2012 9:05 PM in response to HwyHawk1976by MattRStewart,Im wondering if the battery drain is caused by iCloud?
I have disabled the iCloud "documents and data" setting, but when i load my iPhone 5 into iExplorer, it shows me this:
However on my iCloud storage settings, it shows no data there:
Is it possible that the iPhone icloud is trying to sync folders from apps that should not be there?
Ive tried deleting in iExplorer but it will not delete.
I've also tried deleting these folders from my Mac ( /Users/####/Library/Mobile Documents/ ) but every time i reconnect the iPhone they appear.
Any thoughts on how to delete these from iPhone for good?

Nov 28, 2012 10:04 PM in response to ramone12781by CliffHNZ,The fact that we are getting different numbers for voltage would lead me to believe that these are dynamic readings. There's no logical reason to post different numbers on different devices outside of Apple's published spec otherwise. I'm just trying to get confirmation from the producer of that app now. Unfortunately I think we're both losing something in translation on the emails. As soon as I have a definitive answer I'll post back here.
