How do I sync facebook friends to my contacts using the IPhone 5?

Settings -> Facebook . You will need to enter your Faacebook account information the first time. After that, there is a button labelled "Update all Contacts".

In IOS 6, there is the ability to link to a Facebook account (in Settings) and then update Contacts on the iPhone with your Facebook connections. Tighter integration with Facebook is one of the new features of IOS 6. That includes whatever information those connections have shared with you - phone nubmers, email addresses, home addresses, birthdays, etc.

My phone was working perfectly. It's not even 1 month since I bought it. But suddenly I realised today that some of my fb contacts are not there now which was there before. Please tell me what I should do.

Same goes to me, now I just got 20 contacts from Facebook only if I filter my group jut to show Facebook contacts.

Same here, only about 20 Facebook contacts are being shown in my address book since yesterday. Everything was working fine before.

Yeah same thing for me. Most of my facebook contacts are gone from my contact list. I just got 40 contacts from Facebook only if I filter my group jut to show Facebook contacts, though I have 330 friends in Facebook.

Worst part is you don't even know if Apple is aware of this problem.Somebody please help me out

hopes Apple aware of it and get this done. Worst part for me is I already manual linked facebook contacts with iCloud Contacts. Not sure what it will be shown if Apple fixed it, is it i have to manual link it together again by myself, or it still will keep track/history of the linkage.

Same thing happend here on my iPhone 5 , suddenly most of my FB contacts are gone from my contacts ... I have 90 left out of 970.

Tried to re-sync the contact list with no result ... tried it both on the macbook & iphone.

This needs a fix asap !! 😟

Looks like the problems starting few days ago. I worried that I have to link again to my iCloud contacts when apple get this fix.

This is a problem with all Apple devices (I've seen a person complaining about their Macbook contacts not updating) and Facebook. Send in a technical support request because I was bascially told by a tech support person that no matter how many times there are posts on the forums complaining about this issue until the technical support people actually start seeing multiple customers complaining in their system they will not attempt to find a fix.

Same here. I tried to sync, but only 7 contact were added. I deleted the facebook app and remove the sync. Re-installed everything and still not working. Facebook birthday not working either.

Same Here. I have 123 friends on facebook but only 40 contacts now from facebook. If I try to update my contacts through the facebook settings, it always comes back with 0 contacts updated. I'm not able to update any contacts. Also a lot of images of my contacts are gone and won't update. Things were working fine yesterday. Just noticed this today. Any word on a fix?

I've reinstalled facebook app a few times, deleted my account, re-added the account. Nothing worked. Need a fix for this.

How can I contact support so they are aware of this issue? I can't seem to find it. I got through to some support stuff but then I had to pay $59.99 to send it? o.o

Isn't there a free ticket system or something?
