Will Mountain lion server work with a apple powerpc client?

I would like to test the group devices in Mountain lion server work on some old Apple powerpc client? Does anyone know if this is possable?

Mac mini, OS X Server

I don't think it will as PowerPCs are no longer supported.

To install OS X Server you need to install Mountain Lion first, which has the following requirements:

If your hardware does not comply, installing Mountain Lion won't work and you can forget about OS X Server.

Time to buy new hardware?
