how to fix error 3194

Goto -- (Assuming That its not Jail Broken)

My Computer --> C Drive--> Windows --> System32-->Drivers-->Etc--> Host File

-Cut (remove) this host file and past it on desktop.

-Now comeback to itunes - provided you have fresh itune installation after removing it COMPLETELY from your system (Ref- http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1923?viewlocale=en_US).

-Plug in your iphone to your windows via active USB port (no hub) and with good internet connection.

- Repeat the ios update process and avoid doing multitasking ( I was lil careful... :)).. And that worked for me ...updation took max 10 min's.

- Once the ios updation process is done , follow the instructions and complete the ragistration process. restart your iphone and its on ios 6 EnJOY !

- Put the HOST file back to its original path.

If you are already on 5.1.1 and iphone is not jail broken, Then updtae to ios 6 should not be a problem . It is good to update via itunes, it save time . Also, do not forget to take the backup before update. All the best !

All you need is to have latest itunes and take backup before you you start the update process. be patient and avoid multitasking :-)
