Same thing happened to my kenwood stereo. It still plays but with minimal functionality thanks to ios 6
I have the same problem... with Alpine CDE-133BT, but i´m reading about other units too, the problem is iOS 6.
I heard today Alpine. They said that soon will release a fw update for ios6. 😉
I think the solution is to jailbreak the Alpine car audio
