I have just recently purchased my iPod nano through the apple store a few days ago and im just wondering does the iPod charge through the computer or do you have to buy a seperate Charger? And one other thing...Does the iPod nano come with a case or is that sold seperately and if it is then what case do you recommend?

iBook G4, Mac OS X (10.3.9), 800mhz 640MB RAM 4Gigabyte iPod nano and playstation portable

No charger. It charges from the computer.
It has a case but nothing great. You WILL want to get another.

Yeah, it did, 1st-3rd Generation iPod and 1G iPod mini came with the case (not for mini), ac charger and remote control as well.

I suggest that you should buy the AC charger as you may find a need in the future e.g. Travelling overseas

You turn your computer off? I did once about 4 years ago.
