    1. Click the link.

    2. The other problems you listed are unrelated and off topic in this thread.  Restore your phone in iTunes, first using a backup and if needed as a new phone (without using a backup)

Please people, read the entire thread (it's only two pages) . A link to the thread containing a work-around has been given by "modular747". But to make things easier...

I've been testing this for the last 30 minutes or so and found that if the AssistiveTouch panel is the *last thing pressed*, even if it's just to return the panel to it's minimized size, the screen will *not* AutoLock.

To get AutoLock to function normally, something other than the AssitiveTouch panel needs to be pressed. This can be a simple screen swipe.

Because of the additional motion (screen swipe or otherwise) required to get the screen to AutoLock correctly and not stay on indefinitely, I really doubt this is "by design". Seems like a nasty bug that will bite someone hard and kill their battery without them knowing it.

I have the Iphone 4 and also use the AssistiveTouch function. Ever since I updated to iOS6. My Auto-Lock function has not been working all the time. I just attempted what SergZak wrote and "Wallah! Magic". It works perfectly now. Just as he stated, ...."To get AutoLock to function normally, something other than the AssistiveTouch panel needs to be pressed after choosing your AutoLock time limit"....Great work SergZak. I was stressing on that ever since the update. Many Thanks

I just tried what SergZak said and it doesn't work on my phone. Apple needs to get this sorted asap because this is just ridiculous everything was working fine on iOS 5 surely everything should have been tested before they upgraded to iOS 6!!

Im back again. Just to follow up, I was on ''Cloud 9'' thinking I had my Auto-lock problem solved, while using the Assistive Touch function. I have the Iphone 4 upgraded to iOS6. I tried the solution SergZak suggested which seemed to work perfectly, but after the first day or so, it was right back to working like 50% of the time. Before the upgrade the Auto-lock feature worked 100% of the time. Any suggestions to this issue is welcomed. Hopefully Apple can come out with a fix soon.
