home sharing not showing up

Have restarted everything. Clicked Advanced. It says "Disable Home Sharing" - which would indicate sharing is on butit is not showing up on the menu on the left side. I've logged in with my husband's email and password under home sharing and he (on the gateway pc) can see MY library - but I can't see his from my Mac.
