Scratch iphone 5

Why did Apple to deside to paint the Iphone 5 black?

Now you get scratches on the back and sides.

Why not chance it to the metalic look of the white one..

wrong, i just purchased a white iphone 5, 16gb and it has scratches all over the screen. The scratch issues are not limited to just the black models. I think posters here are confused because they believe it is just the casing that has scratching issues but it is also the actual screen that has been shipped with little scratches all over. I ask anyone with an iphone 5, white or black, to tilt their iphone in the light, look at the screen and you will likely see little scratches.

Nope no scratches, take yours back to Apple theres a small chance they'll replace it.

Really??? Looking at my posting history with iphoto and aperture and you are calling a me a droid fan? I hate anything droid. My wife has a kindle fire and it is just terrible.

I am upset about my iphone 5, white 16 gb, which the store plans on exchanging for me when they get more in (we spoke over the phone and I am to go in tomorrow and get set up for when the next shipment comes in). I love my apple products. I will continue to use the iphone 5. BUT, I am irritated that folks like you want to pretend like the scratch issues on white iphone 5s don't exist.

No one credible has posted scratches on there screen right out of the box. If yours was scratched right out of the box and Apple believes you they will replace it, don't wait long to bring it in. However your trying by your multiple posts to make others believe that this is a known issue, it is not. The thread you posted posted doesn't mention scratchs on the screen out of the box, and no one is going to read eight pages of it to find some obscure reference. Scratchs in a black annodized case is entirely possible, its also possible to scratch the screen very difficult in day to day use. I've had all versions of the iphone and ipad and have yet been able to scratch the screen and I'm very ruff on my stuff. Your 1 in a million you should feel lucky.

There are numerous posts dealing with the scratches on white iphone 5s with screen scratches, for example:

After I get home, I discovered there is a 2.5CM scratch on the screen. I ran back to Apple store to ask for replacement again. They rejected me and told me that the store is too busy right now. Make an appointment and come back later.

Feel free to go through the thread. Apparently, I am learning from other threads that there is an issue with hairline scratches on screens and this is what is going on with mine. Google these issues, it is picking up steam each hour.

To say that this is an isolated incident on apple products, just as you suggested above, tells me you are just trolling or doing damage control because we all know about the scratch issues on the 4 and 4s iphones. I have owned both. Loved them, minus the scratches, especially on the black 4 iphone.

I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings. Your 1 in 2 million. Either way if its like you said Apple will replace it no problem, or is the real reason you keep posting is you don't believe Apple will believe you, and they'll say "user" damage and send you packing. Post your evidence, lets see those photos of YOUR phone I'm sure you'll find some reason why you wont.
