My ipad 2 is showing connect to itunes?

My ipad 2 is showing connect to itunes, but itunes dont see it, and i have followed every step, but still no ipad 2 in itunes program, is my ipad 2 faulty? This happend after i upgraded it to ios 6, then it went dead, and restarted with connect to itunes



Can this be easy solved, or do i have to send it in to a applestore, the only problem i have with that is that i live in Norway, so any help to get my ipad 2 R2 back up..


I am using latest version of itunes 10.7, still no luck, restarted my pc several times, even reinstalled itunes 2-3 times, and it still not showing up in itunes..

If i could do that i would have done that long time ago, there is no responds fro my ipad 2 ...


I did what you said, it still not showing up in itunes. I think my ipad is broken or bricked somehow. I think i need to send it back to apple for a new ipad 2, or go back to the store and see if they can help me... Thnx anyway, it did not help me with my problem..

Force iPad into Recovery Mode


1. Turn off iPad


2. Connect USB cable to computer; leave the other end alone


3. Press and hold the Home button down and connect the docking end of cable to iPad


4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect To iTune" screen


5. Release the Home button


6. Open iTune


7. You should see "iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode"


8. Use iTune to restore iPad



Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times.
