Apple TV / iOS 6 AirPlay doesn't work!

Having same problem -current Applce TV, iPad3 and iP4.

It also seems to be affecting airplay streaming to the Apple TV from my Mountain Lion upgraded Macs

All I'm getting is audio.

I am also having the same issue, with my iPhone 4 and iPad 2 but updated to iOS 6. When I airplay through my Apple TV it skips like a scratched CD. I went back to the old school way of just the 3.5 mm jack and plugging it in. ANNOYING!

since updating to ios6 I can no longer airplay video from anywhere other than video I record on my iPad or phones.

I use to do this pretty much every day.

It's a HUGE loss of functionality ....

I get sound from iTunes music videos and that's it.

The iPhone YouTube app for iPhone now insists on mirroring being turned on ..it never did before.

If you do turn on AirPlay mirroring it won't play full screen on the tv.

Is there a fix for it or has apple deliberately disabled it in there spat with Google?

It was one of the things I LOVED about my Apple TV I could pick my favorite GoPro videos from my iPad and it would just play on the tv using airplay now it can't be done.

Grumble grumble......:-(

I am also having trouble with my itunes video library. All was good until I updated my iPad 3 to ios6. Now when I try to play the videos, I click on my sharred library as always and it starts loading by showing the shaded circle. It gets to half way shaded and stops. I have tried resets on everything but to no avail. I am very dissapointed. Apple is supposed to work simply and simply work. But that is no longer the case.😟

Apple TV just came out with an update yesterday. I airplay seems to work better after the update but still not what it was prior to updating my iPhone and iPad to iOS6.

Since the Apple TV update yesterday I was dealing with the same problems. I always had my Apple TV hooked up with ethernet and it worked just fine. Now with the Apple TV update and iOS6 had Airplay Youtube & Video and Photostream issues.

I did some test today with unplugging the ethernet and used my wi-fi cnnection and everything worked excellent. Netflix, Trailers, Youtube and Yotube Airplay using the Jasmine App, Trailers, Airplay with Real Racing 2 HD, actually worked better than it has before I did the update.

I still don't understand why ethernet to Apple TV is an issue, but Apple definitely needs to fix that. But I have to say they made great improvements on the wi-fi with Apple TV.

One tip for anyone having issue with Video AirPlay. I tryed playing actual recorded video from my iPhone 5 and tryed airplaying from my iPhone to Apple TV same issues as everyone else is having wouldnt play on Apple TV saw streaming circle just keep spinning and the video woudn't play on Apple TV.

Here is what I did to get the videos to play:

I tranfered the recorded video from my iPhone to my MacBook Pro and then imported the videos into iTunes and drop and dragged them back onto my iPhone and iPad. The videos will show up in your Video App and from there they will AirPlay no problem.

For some reason videos that we record on are iPhones and iPads show up as videos in are photos app and if you try to airplay them from the photos app they will just hang. But if they are transfers to the Video app via iTunes they will Airplay no problem.

Again another issue that needs to be addressed by Apple.

I can only but agree. Since uppgrade to Ios6, i have major issues with apple TV. Have upgraded to the lates fw launched this week. Audio works fine, both to AppleTV and My Pioneer VSX-921. And with the hick up with AirPlay from 10.8 using per 11 machines I'm pretty upset on Apple.

Don't work on either ATV2 or 3. FIX IT NOW!!!!

Since updating my Apple TV I can airplay from safari and to solve my YouTube problems I use Jasmine app for YouTube.

Same here - I have iPad with iOS 6 and Apple TV with the latest update. Audio is scratchy and impossible to listen to. What happened?!? Please resolve, I use this EVERY DAY...

Same issue with all iOS 6 devices and Apple TV, audio but no picture. Need a fix.

I have the same issue. I use slingbox, ipad/iphone, and appletv combo. I can only get the pictures/videos to show if stored on phone. Youtube and slingbox apps don't work. Was this suppose to be an upgrade? Fix it!

Update: still same issues with airplay from iPad 2 and iPhone 4 both with iOS 6 even after the Apple TV Update

Would urge all to give their feedback to apple requesting that this be updated ASAP...
