ApplePhotoStreamsExe has stopped working on my windows pc

I updated both my iphone 4s and the icloud software on my pc to run with ios6. Now the photostream won't work. The phone puts pictures into the stream so the phone is fine. My PC keeps saying that 'ApplePhotosStreamsExe has stopped working' and it says it has to close the program. Help! I love the photo stream feature! Also when i clicked on photo stream options in the icloud control panel it will not open.
