Sep 22, 2012 6:56 PM in response to sanjampetby WZZZ,★Helpfulsanjampet, please stop giving people completely irrelevant suggestions for this issue. This issue is specifically related to the most recent 10.6 Security Update 2012-004, where, if Mail had been moved out of /Applications or to some sub-folder within /Applications, the update couldn't locate it and Mail was, consequently, effectively disabled.

Sep 23, 2012 9:27 AM in response to WZZZby spoiledbelle ,Thanks again. Since you were able to help with the mail issue, was wondering if you had any ideas to why my iPhone will not sync after this same upgrade? I'm thinking the next time, I'm forgoing the update. This has been a nightmare every since I updated it on 9/19. Mind you I still have a 3g, LOL! And I'm going to finally update to the 5 when the hoopla dies down and they are easier to get. But until then, I'd like to be able to sync. Thanks =)
