is it possible to connect apple tv 3rd gen through a sky box using hdmi? so applt tv to sky box - then sky box to tv in a daisy chain like when we had video recorders and dvd players in 1983!

I doubt that is possible unless Sky box has HDMI in and HDMI out.

Hi. My sky box has an hdmi socket. The sound comes from a remote source without a digital optical input so I would need to daisy chain the apple box through the sky box to get picture one way and sound the other way.
Hope this makes sense?..
I ditched Sky a few years ago.
I can't say for certain but I'm 99.9% certain it won't work.
