Q: issues with wifi on iphone 5

I have tested my wifi on my old 4S and new 5....

something is not right....

 

On my 4S I get 4.91 Mps thru my router at home

 

 

and when I test on my 5 it wont even get up to 512K!!!! ***!!!

 

anyone having same issues with iPhone 5 wifi!!!!

    I have the same problem at home. I have my wifi router at the third floor. If I work with the MacBook Air on the first floor I  have full line and can use Internet easily, but on my iPhone 5 I have no wifi service. Also iPad is working well with full connection. Very frustrated such telephone !!!!

    I recently bought an iPhone 5 and have had wifi problems since day 1.  In hindsight, I should have took the phone back.  But because of my past good experiences with Apple products, I thought it was my ISP, modem, router, house, etc.

     

    Anyway, what worked for me was to login to my router and disable WMM.  After I did this, my speed instantly became better (as reported by Ookla speedtests).  I hope this helps... Good luck to all!
