how to cancel software update to ios6 on iPhone 4
Hit update software w/o realizing it was going to update to ios 6. How do I cancel the download? Have it paused by suspending wi fi connection currently.

Good evening everyone who is having this problem listed as "How to stop the software update on iOS". Software update of iOS starts downloading in background if the iPad or the iPod or maybe the iPhone is connected to a WiFi network and is charging.If you just tap "Download and Install" and having any kind of problem in downloading the iOS update or your carrier is charging too much for that limit of data or the update is too large for your data plan and you by mistake tap the "Download and Install" and the downloading started and you switch off WiFi and again switch it on but the downloading resumes.It is very easy to cancel the iOS update.You can just fill up all the memory with any thing you want like Photos,Videos,Games,Apps and when the memory becomes less than the size of the update the update will be cancelled automatically and display an error message saying "The update was cancelled due less storage available please free up some storage".
