Bluetooth Printer

I installed a Targus Bluetooth dongle in the front of the HP Photosmart D7260 printer. The MacBook found it and printed a document. The printer screen says, however, "Unknown Device! Disconnect device. Refer to documentation to troubleshoot." The printer is also connected by USB but disconnecting the USB has no effect on printing or on the screen warning. The documentation is no help.
