iOS 6 Maps not loading on Hybrid or Satellite. Black Screen.

I had slightly similar issue: I couldn't see any streets on any of the maps (standard, hybrid, or satellite). But my location services were on and I could see the pins for current location and destination, and even different routes I could take. But no streets! Just a blank grid! Finally, I did a hard reset (press home and power button at same time) and that did the trick! Everything is working fine now!

I'm having the same problem, but on an iPad 2. Standard view works fine. Satellite or Hybrid? Black screen. Not even a grid. I think I'll try resetting/restoring the device to see if that helps.

Standard works, Satellite works, Hybrid doesn't work, it shows no streets, just the satellite view with some street names, depending zoom.

Reboot, force reboot etc. hasn't fixed it.

Yes, same issue here. standard view works but hybrid and satellite view is just a black screen. In South Africa, iPad2 and "upgraded" to iOS6 last night. Tried hard and soft resets... No dice

iPad 2. IOS6. Hybrid view fails; loads satellite image but not the road overlays.

Same problem here. No soft, hard restore, reset settings, notthing solved my problem. No view on default or satelite, it can pinpoint my location, even the pin shows the correct street address, but I see no maps, only the pin.

i am having the same issue with my iphone 4s which i recerntly bought....i am facing a blank screen on standard and black screen on hybrid.. gps is working fine so is location services.
