Q: how do I restore my iPhone 5 to the original settings? I stupidly didn't set it m up as a new phone in iTunes and it seems to have reverted to my old iPhone 4.

I stupidly set up my new iphone 5 as my old iphone 4 in itunes and it reverted to my old phone set up. How do I restore it back to original iphone 5 settings and set it up as a new device?

Just do a restore as a new phone, then sync it to get your contacts and other stuff apps/music you want.

Settings>General>Reset>Erase All Content & Settings. Go through the activation setup again and select to set it up as a new iPhone.
