Mail quits unexpectedly

I have mail quitting unexpectedly when you view sent items. I can log into a different user id, check sent messages from that id without issue. When I check the sent messages through file sharing on a second mac, there is no problem with the messages.

I have tried moving the envelope index to the desktop but it does not resolve the problem.

Help, please...

Mail version is Version 4.6 (1085) on a MacBook Pro, OS X 10.6.8

thanks

User uploaded file

Go to Folder again in the Finder, this time with the following text:

~/Library/Application Support/AddressBook/MailRecents-v4.abcdmr

Delete the selected file and try again.

I am new at this posting and don't know how to post my thanks to Linc Davis, as I tried this and deleting the RSS folder and the problem is solved.
