iCloud disabled font functions in Outlook calendar

I agree, lacking this feature has cost me business and required me to spend excess time in orgainizing my business operations and schedule. My love of iCloud has turned to loathing. How can we get Apple to address this probelm. I am going from iCloud evangelist to serious protester.

My biggest concern is this highlights the lack of control we have when trusting cloud technology – someone somewhere now has the ability to control what we can and can't do or use..

I'm using Outlook 2010 and did the icloud re-install (did not work for me) I am having the same issue with the notes in the appointment part of Outllok calendar. Cannot edit anything.

Really screwing with me I make alot of changes during the day based on my schedule. I'm using my iPhone to make changes but don't want to do this long term. I can't believe this happened, what could possible be their reason for changing this??

If anyone gets a resolutiuon to this issue please post it here.

I do not have this font issue, but I would recommend trying not only uninstalling/reinstalling the iCloud control panel on the PC, but disabling the calendar on the iOS device(s) (Settings, iCloud - be sure to save them on on the device), shut the iOS device(s) all the way down (power off), then start it back up ... re-enable the calendar on the iOS device(s) which will perhaps fix it. All the problems I was having with my Outlook 2007 calendar and iCloud were resolved by doing this.

I am experiencing all these same issues, too, with Outlook 2007 and iCloud. So frustrating! I keep hoping that Apple will undo what they've done to Outlook formatting/view issues with the next update, but I don't know if or when that would be. I hope they realize that those of us on this discussion who share in the problems experienced are merely a small sample of all those out there who are affected.

I have just hung up the telephone with a Senior Advisor at Apple who said that they spoke with the Engineers for iCloud and that they have deleted this functionality. They said that the only way that this will ever change is to have enough people complain. If you are viewing this please send a note to Apple's feedback team. It is our only hope in getting this changed back to the way it should be. He basically said if enough people complain then they will listen. He also said that you cannot revert back to iCloud version 1.

Does anyone have connections to David Pogue at the NY Times or Walter Mossberg at the Wall Street Journal. They have the clout and following to make Apple give this some attention.

Found a fix for the copy past command on the web. Instead of right clicking the mouse when trying to paste into Outlook notes section of the Calendar, try "Ctrl V" ...it worked for me.

I too have this same problem with Outlook 2010 functions gone and the notes field in a rich text stranglehold. The worst of it all is the teeny, tiny text height. Did the developers really think 5-point text height would fly?

I finally uninstalled iCloud's recent update and went back to the last version, which I had to obtain off the web. It was not easy to find, but I got it. It fixed everything! Now, all my Outlook fonts, formatting and everything works just fine as it did before the last iCloud release.

Problem is that I wanted to get an iPhone 5, and now I can't since it will have th latest iCloud on it which won't sync up with my computer's settings since I reverted back to the last version of iCloud which was compatible with Outlook.

Not sure what Apple have done, but mine now works ok... On new version

Has this been corrected for anybody else because it's still the same for me. Myabe I need to reinstall iCloud.

Feedback please, I'm seriously considering using google calendar and moving away from icloud.
