This solved it.

Last time I had this issue, changing the DNS server IP in the router fixed the issue.

I'm using Google DNS (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4) on my Macs ... everything works except Safari 6.0.2 update ... :-(

Safari 6.0.2 is now available via Software Update.

Did it work for you? Here, I continue to get the error message when attempting to update.

Thank that worked for me. Still got to get a fix for iPhoto though.

I am having the same error messages. I think many are. Think it's on Apple's end.
