I have an appletv but cannot see Shared Photo Streams that I am subscribed to. Is there a setting in the Apple TV itself or in the photo stream sharing that must be enabled in order to view the shared photos? How are they supposed to show up?
iMac 24, Mac OS X (10.7)
I guessing this has not been activated yet for ATV. I'm sure you'd be able to see the various streams just like you can on your iPhone/iPad/iPod. Perhaps this will be activated in an forthcoming update(??). I was also looking for this.

So unless the marketing team jumped ahead of the Apple TV dev team, I think it is supposed to be supported.
Just noticed there is footnote to that statment:
'Photo Stream is compatible with the second-generation Apple TV or later. Shared Photo Streams require Apple TV Software version 5.1.'
Current version is 5.0.2

Yes, already loving the way it works on iPhones & iPads. However, there does not seem to be a way to order your shared stream. A stream I created in Aperture shows in a seemingly random order when viewed elsewhere. Not even ordered by name nore date.
I was curious about the photo ordering too. While trying to resolve this issue I signed out on the Apple TV, then back in and noticed my entire photo stream downloaded again with oldest date first. Prior to that it was newest first. It looks like it may be based on when groups of photos are added and then downloaded. No "photo stream" global ordering seems to be applied.
