Is there an upgrade path from logic pro 8 to logic studio?

I have Logic pro 8 installed and was looking to move to logic studio which includes logic pro 9 mainstage, soundtrack pro 3 and 38 GB of optional content according to the store http://store.apple.com/uk/product/MB795Z/A/logic-studio.

I want an upgrade not a full cost product is there one?

I called the local apple store and they say that I just need to download logic pro 9 and mainstage from the mac app store as this is cheeper, but I don't see how that product will have the additional 38gb of content or soundtrack pro 3 etc as it doesnt mention this on the mac app store? Or they say I can pay £417 for the full physical product as there is no upgrade product which seems harsh as I have purchased logic pro 8 previously.

Any advise help is appreciated.
