Call forwarding bug since iOS 6

Since upgrading to iOS 6 the call forwarding icon randomly appears. If I call my phone, the call is not forwarded to another number so I am assuming the icon is spurious.

It's happening to my mate's phone too.

Anybody else?

Hi there,

Just spent the last 24 hours or so wondering why this icon has suddenly appeared as I've not had this in over 4 years of owning an iPhone.

However, I eventually found the answer on the T-Mobile web site under phone manuals of all places!!

Try the code ##002#

According web site it cancels ALL diverts, so you'll need to set up any voicemail again. FYI, I've reset Hullomail without icon appearing any more and I've reset phone a few times just to check...

Hope this helps

Shaun

Hi,

I might have the solution for you all.

if under phone on settings you switch off dial assist and change your number to your country format without international codes etc and then use the same format on the number you want to forward calls to the call forwarding seems to start working. It has for me, this is after speaking with my network and apple care, I discovered this simple solution myself.
