Need shortcut to turn off Cellular Data

I'm looking for a way to toggle off cellular data too. I just upgraded to this iphone 5 and opted for 2.5G on T-Mobile. Hardly ever using internet, but using GPS for 2 45 min walks, I've burnt through .6G IN less than 24 hours of having phone. This is crazy. I use my iPad mor, but my PC most of all.

This is my first NON jailbroken iPhone (I've had 5 so far). With Cydia, I had all sorts of toggle options that came up each time I turned phone on. I didn't want to go for Cydia and jailbreaking AGAIN but it looks like Apple isn't giving me a choice.

If anyone has suggestions of apps that will do this (and location, and bluetooth) please advise!

Your carrier is evil?

Apple didn't design the iPhone to be that friendly to limited data plans. So there's no shortcut toggle until the release of iOS 7 (do not download it today, wait until the fall)

You can turn your phone to 2G mode if on a GSM carrier which limits the data speeds.

What is your limit and what do you do on your phone?

Um, Limited data plans have been around since the beginning of data over the cellphones. Even my 10 year old motorola clam shell had data with a large limitation.

I don't think either of us is looking for someone to tell us a new way to do it. Or to return to 2G. I already have a 2, a 3 a 3GS and a 4. I didn't spring for a 5 so I would go backwards and have less service than with a 4! Speaking for ME, I want a toggle as I asked.

Looks like Apple has dropped the ball since Steve Jobs's death. He'd be on top of this explosion.

From what you're saying, sounds like we must look outside Apple, and must use Cydia which has foresight. Very sad that Apple doesn't care anymore.
