iOS6 breaks iPhone User Guide

After upgrading my iPhone 4S to iOS6, the Safari bookmark for the iPhone User Guide produces a "404 Not Found. The requested URL /apps/mobile/2.0/ was not found on this server. Apache/2.2.3 (PU_IAS) Server at help.apple.com Port 80" page.

Note that the URL (http://help.apple.com/iphone/6/) works when entered into the Safari browser on a Mac.

Since the first thing a users might do after installing a new iOS is look at the User Guide on their phone, this makes for a bad first impression. Is this a problem with the phone or with the web server? What is the fix?

No, this link is not fixed. It still comes up as "web page not found" (error 404). The ErrMsg comes on my 3gs iPhone bookmark for the "iPhone User Guide" -- which worked just fine prior to the upgrade to iOS 6 -- also this is a dead link via computer. The bookmark link is as follows: http://help.apple.com/iphone/6/ -- "The requested URL /apps/mobile/2.0/ was not found on this server -- Apache/2.2.3 (PU_IAS) Server at help.apple.com Port 80"

Thanks,

I'm not surre what's going on with this link and Apple's servers. I checked it last night on my iPhone 4S right before posting this, and it was working at that time. It was the new, updated guide with the Maps information for iOS 6 as well as other appropriate changes. Later last night, when I tried to use the bookmark again, it had gone back to being a dead link. Seems like something odd going on on Apple's end, just not sure what. Strangely enough, I haven't heard of any such issues from iPhone 5 users.

At this writing (9/25-8am), this link - http://help.apple.com/iphone/6/ - is still a dead link. I have been able to get an iPhone 5 / iOS 6 User Manual, but cannot find a manual for the 3gs with iOS 6. Apple seems to have removed all the manuals (except iPhone 5 manuals) from their servers. The only available manuals that I can locate are in PDF format, which are useless for practical iPhone usage - you need to have "real-time" access to your manual. Apple should really put back in place the "User Guide" just as it was before the iOS 6 upgrade. Removing the User Guide from the servers is comparable to trashing a paper manual that comes standard with any item...
