App icons not showing up on screen?

I just upgraded my iPhone 4 to iOS 6 and it made a few of my apps dissappear from my screen. They are still on my phone, because when I search for them, they come up and I can open them, but I can't figure out how to get the icons to be on my screen. I even deleted them and then reinstalled them but that did nothing. I just don't want to have to search for an app everytime I need to use it. I'd rather have them right there on my screen so I can open them up.
