Q: I just bought my apple TV.  I have direct tv.  connected as stated. no menu no nothing.  any suggestions?

    Not sure what Direct tv means but if you connect the appletv to the tv using hdmi and you using your tv's Remote choose the hdmi port the appletv is connected to is input source it Should work if it dont test with another tv is it also dont work there then the Apple tv maybe defect
