Hi guys,

I installed the above update a couple of days ago but it keeps coming up in my updates on the App Store. Anyone experiencing the same or anyuone understands why this is happening?

Thanks

EFI updates are complicated to Install.

First you download.

Then you run a Program. -- But you are not done!! That program simply pre-positions the update to run the next time you Restart.

Then you have to Restart without modifying the start sequence, so that the Update can Install itself. If you intervene, the update cancels. If the power adapter is not in place, the update cancels. If you hold down other snag-keys at Startup, the update cancels.

This is ridiculous, I still cannot get this to install, have tried everything, repairing disk, repairing user permissions on disk, installing in Mac Safe mode, booting into disk utility and running repair ETC ETC ETC, have tried downloading the EFI update and then trying to install, installing direct from Software Update, everytime re-starts, get the progress bar to say its installing, comes back onto Mac desktop and it still sitting there !

Has nobody got an answer for this at all ?, Do Apple technicians not actually look on this community ?
