Sep 23, 2012 12:37 PM in response to kevattorby FelipeV,It is directing you to the App store because you might need to get or update to Passbook enabled apps. So far there are about 8-10 Passbook friendly apps out there with more to come as time goes by.
Fandango is up and running and when you buy tickets with their app it gives you the option of sending them to Passbook.

Sep 23, 2012 12:43 PM in response to kevattorby randysh,FelipeV is correct, you need apps that work with passbook, such as United Airlines or Target. Those apps will be in Passbook sort of like your magazine apps are in Newsstand

Sep 25, 2012 8:15 AM in response to FelipeVby Myestrothedog,The only problem is... even after updating these apps (I use fandango, atbat & ticketmaster) NONE of them show up when opening passbook! I thought maybe it will pop up when I arive at the concert... but nope, nothing. I open passbook and there is nothing but the same screen that takes you to the app store.

Sep 25, 2012 9:22 AM in response to Myestrothedogby FelipeV,You need to add the tickets from the app (such a Fandango). Only after you have done this will the passes/tickets show up in PassBook. When you bought the tickets did you select the SEND TO PASSBOOK option in the app?

Sep 25, 2012 9:52 AM in response to FelipeVby Myestrothedog,So your saying Only tickets I choose 'send to passbook' at purchase time will show up? This doesn't make sense. What about loyalty cards? There is nothing 'to buy' with them. Again, Nothing is showing up in passbook, Nothing.(so thanks Tgara but your link does me no good)

I don't use any of the apps that are currently working with Passbook, but from feedback here, they work for others. You must be doing something wrong.

Sep 25, 2012 11:10 AM in response to Myestrothedogby FelipeV,Same with loyalty cards: you need to send them to PassBook from the app. I suggest you go to the merchant app of the card you are trying to use and see what the options are. Or try the website of the company you want. If it is Passbook compliant it might allow you to add it from there.

Sep 25, 2012 12:31 PM in response to kevattorby Nicholas Sayer,I bought a movie ticket in fandango. I do not see anywhere any sort of 'send to passbook' option.

Sep 25, 2012 12:54 PM in response to FelipeVby Myestrothedog,ok guys,
I AM using the "Passbook compliant" apps (fandango, atbat & ticketmaster) but NONE of them then show up when opening passbook. And Nicholas is right, there are no 'send to passbook' options.

Sep 25, 2012 3:00 PM in response to Myestrothedogby FelipeV,In Fandango you need to be signed in to your Fandango account. Go to Account. Under account you will see purchases. In purchases you will see your tickets. Select the ticket you want to send to Passbook. In the bottom of the ticket you can select SEND TO PASSBOOK.
Again, the apps will not show up in PassBook. Only the passes that you send, will.

Sep 25, 2012 3:01 PM in response to Nicholas Sayerby FelipeV,Did you do it through your Fandango account on the iPhone app?
-
Sep 25, 2012 4:38 PM in response to FelipeVby Nicholas Sayer,Nope. Done all that. Does not work. There is nothing that says "send to passbook."

Mac App StoreOk. I think this may be a theater specific issue.
I found another ticket that I bought in 2009 for another theater. THAT one shows up (despite being for an event two years in the past).
