Does your iPhone 5 Lens rattle?

I got my first iPhone 5 and it just died after the batty depleted. The apple store replaced it. My new phone has a little annoying problem. When the vibration motor buzzes you v=can hear a sligt rattle. After experamenting if I lay the phone screen down it isn;t as noticable. If I shake the phone you can hear it. It's not the battery thud people are experiencing but a tiny rattle. I didn't notice this with the first defective phone, but I didn't really use it long before it died. Is this normal? My 4S does not do this.

Thanks

I'm having the same problem. I scheduled an appointment for today at the Genius Bar. The guy that was helping me took the phone to the back and said that he compared my phone's rattle to other three and it happens to be the vibrator moving inside when i shake it. I didn't have this problem with my iphone 3G or 4, but now I'm stuck for 2 years with an expensive rattle.

I believe I know the solution to the camera rattle. Unfortunately, as far as I know, this will require an iOS update from Apple. Understanding that the issue was from the camera elements, I toyed with the iOS camera app and found that if I tried to focus on an object very close it would stop the rattle. This, I believe, because the focusing elements compact together, "pancaking", so to speak, the assembly. So all this would mean is that if Apple were to release an update that would place the elements in this compact form when not in use then the rattle would no longer be there when outside of the camera app. The only issue then is getting Apple to realize this. Noone would have to bring in their iPhones to the Genius Bar. An update to iOS is all that's needed. This solution is like taking a DSLR lens and turning it to compact it except this would just have iOS take car of it.
