My new phone also does it in the app store only, but it isn't quite the same. These are very thin white lines only when the keyboard is up in the app store. My first phone had multicolored lines in various apps.

I think the current issue with my phone is software related since it is so specific to one app. Hoping for a fix soon. I hear there some wifi issues with some iPad users and iPhone users, so hopefully a 6.0.1 patch is in the works.

I have a white 16gb iphone 5 and I'm having this issue with the keyboard also. Except i did see it happen once on the home screen and the line was purple instead. I'm hoping its software related because i also experienced it on my ipad for the first time since updating to ios 6.

I have the same problem. 16GB black phone. It showed up when I input the app store password with a number of flicking horizaontal lines in the keyboard area. The issue does not come out everytime, though.

Replaced my phone for the second time at the Apple Store, maybe this one works out better.

I have the same problem with my phone (iphone 5 16GB, black). It happened for the first time last weekend then again today at lunchtime. Looked exactly the same as the youtube videos and would not go away until I flicked from numbers to text on the keyboard. Weird!! Should speak to Apple and see what they say...

Same problem (as previously discussed in this forum thread):

This is my first time having an iphone and not happy so far.

I see flickering lines 2 to 3 times the last 6 days. One time the lines as wide as about 1/32 of an inch across the screen. Also, the App Store screen frozen when I try to download Angry Bird app today.

Does any one have same issue ?

Same here. iPhone 5 16gb black. Also happens during password entry in App Store and when using numerical keypad.

I have the white 64GB and it is not confined to the app store or keyboard.  It even occurs just when looking at the apps after pressing the home button.  I am hoping for a brand new device as they shouldn't be like this and under your statutory rights they should be forced to give you a replacement.  I hope.

    Same problem. 16 GB white.

Same issue. Noticed first time today. In App Store entering password. Black iPhone 5 32GB.

I experienced this last night in the app store when I was about entering my password, and I was worried. I just got this last sept 26. Will the apple replace this? Or just ignore and wait for the IOS update?

Mine still does it in the app store, and I am pretty sure that is a software issue. My original phone was doing it in various places, including the home screen. The new one only does it when the keyboard is up in the app store, so hoping Apple will issue a software fix soon. It is annoying.

Yeah,  guessing its is only a IOS issue. And it's true kinda annoying. Mine is iphone 5 16g, my husband got this and he took the 4s. Anyhow, thanks for the reply!

I have had the same issue - same phone.  Noticed it first week, then it's slowed down in occurance but then I'm also not having to input my password as much.  It's been exclusively found in the AppStore, which makes me also think it's been an OS/software issue.

I was able to take a photo of it using my girlfriend's Droid...which has never had a screen flicker issue.

There they are, right over the  - / : ; and ending before the ( starts.  This has been consistent to when it happens - it happens there every time.  It seems to get worse and then not happen again...but occurance, dependent on me entering my password for any Apple software program, has become more infrequent as I'm not stocking up my apps anymore.

I'd love to see any other photos people have managed to take...
