Q: My trackpad is going crazy on me

Mine is doing the exact same thing!  I just brought it to the Genius bar at my local Mac Store in Salem NH.  They had it in for 2 days of testing and said they could not get the problem to replicate.  I brought it home, turned it on and the same stinking thing.  It's maddening, i tried plugging in a USB mouse and it made no difference, still does the same thing, it's almost not possible to use.

PLEASE HELP!!!

thanks, It just started working ok now. I just used a toothpick to clean anything around the edge of trackpad.. but it could have been moisture along that edge too..  it's all good now thx!

Thanks!  I cleaned my friend's MacBook Pro trackpad with a toothpick and it worked great!  What an easy fix.

toothpick didn't work.  Can we un screw the track pad from below.....and clean it?
