Camera not working, get a black screen. Also not able to get the emoji smiley keyboard option while adding the new keyboard.

Hi.. I bought the Iphone 4S unlocked version from the US. But the camera has stopped working. Get only a blank screen. Took it to the Apple store in Bangalore but they say they cannot service the phones which are bought outside India. Doesnt Iphone 4S have an international warranty and cant it be used to get it serviced/repaired anywhere in the world? I am not coming back to the US and its risky to send the Iphone via post to have any repairs done. Tried to do the factory reset but that dint work. Please let me know if I can get this repaired in Bangalore. Also Im unable to get the Emoji option while adding the new keyboard.
