iTunes 10.7 won't download on Windows 7

iTunes won't download on my laptop, it is a Windows 7. Download gets to the part where a pop-up should say "Run" or "Save" but it doesn't. Pop-ups are not blocked and I have tried downloading from Chrome, Internet Explorer, Mozilla and Safari. I already have iTunes 10 on my laptop so it wasn't a problem once before and I've tried going to Help on the iTunes I'm using currently and selecting Checking for Updates, but it does nothing when I click on it, it'll look like it's searching for a bit and just stop. The biggest problem about this is that I updated my phone to iOS 6 and now I can't sync it because iTunes needs to be udated. HELP ME!

My computer is doing exactly the same thing. I've tried uninstalling and using different explorers but nothing seems to work. Have you tried phoning support?

Hello skanasa, I too exactly had a same problem, but i was able to make out

I know you have used IE, again give a try

..... Click on download.....You will get something like if you have problem downloading click here

Follow the exact procedure, set the pop up blocker of IE to medium ONLY...

This helped me in downloading without any issue

I have encountered the same error and this is my steps:

1. Go to Control panel. Uninstall program.

2. Look for all apple application.

3. Uninstall all apple application.

4.Download the itunes installer for 64bit from apple website.

5. Install and follow onscreen instructions.

Hope this will help you also to solve this error.

ive tried downloading itunes to my computer with the 64bit and still wont work. it says it wasnt installed right and to reinstall it. ive done it 5 times and still wont work

I had to download itunes, not install direct from the web. I then had to go to my download folder then right click and select "run as administrator" option.
