Mail-Does not always 'remember' the view setting

Hi

Sometimes,when I open up mail it does not 'remember' where I was the last time that used it.

In other words, it will list the messages from 2009(my first messages) instead of 2012(now).

I have tried clicking the 'date received' which get the it the way I like it but Mail does not 'remember' this sometimes.

Any ideas please?
