We have 6 macs in our office (iMacs & Mac Minis). Each one is set to "automatically ajust time", but each one shows a different time!? Two are 2 minutes ahead, two are 4 minutes ahead, one is 5 minutes ahead an one is 1 minute behind. Any suggestions on the cause?

Are you using an appropriate Apple time server from the Date & Time preferences, or using your own receiver with open source NTP code?
Made any changes to the ntp related files in /etc?
Pick the Mac with the largest time disparity. Try another time server.
$ sudo systemsetup -setnetworktimeserver ntp.perfekt-time.com
We use time.euro.apple.com, so we didn't change anything from the default.
When I switch to ntp.perfekt-time.com it has no effect - have i got to set a command or wait until midnight?
ntp.perfekt-time.com does not exist. It is a fictitious placeholder to illustrate the command. Sorry.
Perhaps time.euro.apple.com NTP packets are not reaching your machines. Do you have router or firewall settings that have either disabled NTP or block port 123?
What happens when you do the following:
$ telnet time.euro.apple.com 123
Oh, no problem, I noticed while trying ntpdate 🙂
But you seem to be right, port 123 seems to be the problem. I will ask the sysop...

Have you corrected your Mac time issues?
Well, kind of... we entered our routers IP, which has an NTP-Service running and voilá 🙂
Good news. So who is buying the Schnapps? You, me, or the Sysop? 😉
The clocks of our macs are 2-5 minutes ahead
