iPod touch not syncing with itunes 10.7

Guys....HELP!

I recently updated iOS 6 on my ipod 4th generation and also the itunes 10.7 version! Now my iPod won't sync with the itunes! Nothing...literally nothing happens when i connect my iPod with the windows PC! The sync option also dows not appear! My iPod worked absolutely perfect without the updating but now nothing is happening! I would really appreciate it if someone would tell me a soultion! I'm 15 years old and cant really understand all these things! so i really need your help please 🙂

Assuming a PC, first try:

Removing and reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows Vista or Windows 7

or Removing and Reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows XP

It should not affect your iTunes library. However, you should always backup your library.

iTunes: Back up your iTunes library by copying to an external hard drive

THANK U SO MUCH! I'm tranferring my itunes library to my pendrive! and if i re-install every application...is it going to work?? And what if it doesn't work again?

Actually lllaass the solution you gave has nothing to do with my problem! I came to know that my computer is not recognizing my iPod! The CODE 37 problem! Is there any solution you can give me?
