Temp fix for iOS 6 not pushing Exchange mail

Push is now coming through for me as well (using outlook setup via Exchange). But I'm still on 6.0.1, but this could be something MS fixed with EAS recently? If not, then its a pretty big coincidence.

The only way that would be plausible is if it was included in an Exchange side update.

And.... As soon as I leave my building and head home - mind you while seemingly maintaining a 4G connection - push stops again.

I'm beginning to really hate this phone.

I've told no less that 5 people in my office in no uncertain terms - DO NOT BUY AN IPHONE5.

I have now updated both iphone 5's to 6.1 Beta 4, and Push is working fine despite rebooting. Previously, my phone would work afer restore, and then break after a reboot, my wife's one never worked longer than 5 minutes. Now both seem to be working fine. It seems that 6.1 Beta 4 has resolved the EXchange Push Issue, at least for me.

Or wait until IOS 6.1 is officially released (probably in January). Word is, the release notes indicate a fix for this precise issue.

Rebooting or toggling airplane mode is what usually temporarily resolves the issue.

Instaling 6.1 Beta 4 permanently fixed it for me. I am sure Apple has finakky taken action and fixed this

I still wonder if installing the Beta iOS was the answer. Because like I said, my push now works flawlessly since yesterday & I'm still on 6.0.1

Anyone still on 6.0.1 & have EAS push now working? If so, I'm betting it wasn't the Beta that fixed the issue for you guys, but something on the server side of things that finally got worked out.

Still not fixed. Push works while I'm on WiFi, but as soon as I switched to LTE, it stopped pushing new mail.

Background: Iphone 5 on Verizon, push has not worked since day one (had it for two months now) and I have tried everything.

This morning I installed the 6.02 update and push has been working all day. I am not claiming victory by any means just yet, but push has never worked for me for more than 5 minutes no matter what I did. Here's hoping!

So far with 6.0.2, I've had the longest stretch of push that I have ever had with iPhone 5. Still not ready to call this one good, but looks promising.

Push lasted four minutes for me on Exchange after uploading to 6.02. Oh well. I still hold out hope that 6.1 will fix it. Then again, my Gmail and exchange won't fetch, either, so maybe I'm in a whole different category?

For what it's worth, 6.02 did not fix exchange push on my iphone 5. I even did a DFU restore setting up as a new phone and didn't work either. (I've tried that method, as well as every suggestion on this forum several times over the past couple of months, to no avail). I really hope 6.1 fixes this. If it doesn't, I'm done with the iPhone (my first by the way-not a very good experience) and will be reactivating my trusty android phone.

Nothing changes with 6.02 for me either. Did the full DFU recovery/restore and set the phone up as new, not from a back up. Nothing. I've said before, but it's just so frustrating that there's not public acknowledgement of the issue, and that despite being contacted by Apple once over a month ago -- we are still no where with a resolution that seems to work for everyone.
