We are using Exchange 2010 and have the issue. We have 2 Verizon iPhone 5, had used the same accounts with iPhone 4s and iOS6 didn't have the issue.

    Thanks for the update.

I've not had an apsd crash since the 28th (I'm on AT&T), and it's strange that push has been working since then, after failing constantly up till that day.

Not sure what version of Exchange ActiveSync we are using, but I think it might be 2007. It's definitely not the latest as our IT very slow to migrate.

Thanks for posting. Is there anything rest of us can do to help get this expedited by Apple for fix

I am still curious if anyone is still seeing aspd (apple system push daemon) crashes in their diagnostics & logging page on their iphone5.  This was the direct reason my Exchange pushes would not work.  The only way push would work is if I rebooted the phone (or switched airplane mode on/off) which seemed to restart this service. Also once this service crashed (which didn't take long) I couldn't send any imessages either but sms did work.

Maybe I had a different problem all together from what most are experiencing here but just had the same symptoms & that's why reinstalling ios6 worked for me.  However, I would highly recommend anyone with push issues to go to Settings --> General --> About --> Diagnostics & Usage --> Diagnostic & Usage Data to see if they have similar crashes.

Apple just called back and they stated they did not see any apsd crashes in my log but that they did see something that pointed to a networking issue.  Basically they wanted me to pay to continue troubleshooting this case!  To the tune 0f $600.  I said no way.  Anyways, at least now I know that ATT users push on the IP5 is working, as staed by Frank.  So over the weekend I ordered a IP5 from ATT.  I'm really at a loss right now, not sure what else to do and the words I received from Apple give me no indication that they are further pursuing any fix for this.  Very discouraging, to say the least.  I give up...

Just for reference I am using a Black iPhone 5 on Verizon.  I have a million aspd crashes in my diag list.  Today I thought I would test it again.

I just turned on my push email again and rebooted.  Just like usual it worked for a few minutes then stopped.  I am also having the same related problems with imessage.  It will stop working at the same time as exchange push.

DQMIA, if Apple for sure was going to pay you to troubleshoot the issue.  I'm not sure why you wouldn't.  I certainly would in a heart beat.

When iMessage and Exchange push stopped working here is my crash information:

Spider, those were the exact same crashes I was experiencing.  If you look back I posted some steps to put your phone in DFU mode & re-install the firmware (ios6) on the phone.  That is what worked for me (not saying it will fix everyone).  Since I did that Friday evening I have gone the entire weekend & today with no push/imessage issues.  And for the record I am on Exchange 2010 sp2 using activesync.

    Do you mean DFU mode?

Or is this DRU mode? - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808?viewlocale=en_US

So your saying you backed and synced your iPhone 5 > put it in DFU mode > Restored iOS 6 > restored your backup > synced your iPhone 5 > poof it worked again and haven't had push problems?

My shop is also using Microsoft Exchange 2010 SP2.  So far we have two Verizon users and one Sprint user affected, two of us now on our second replacement phone with no luck.  But I see AT&T users on this post affected, and found this on the MacForums: http://www.mac-forums.com/forums/ios-apps/285807-significant-iphone-5-microsoft- enterprise-exchange-push-mail-problem.html.  Push works fine, though, when using wireless and no cellular data. We'll try the DFU restore, as we're getting desperate, but not hopeful at this point.
