Is anyone else having trouble with KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS, mine no longer work after updating to iOS6.

Apparently this is a general issue with 4s and ios6 but apple doesn't know it yet. Since not many people use shortcuts. I searched many websites and only few people who use shortcuts have found this problem

Is there an email ad where we can inform Apple regarding the shortcut problem? I'm using an iPhone 4 and its really difficult specially when using your iPhone to send sms. 😟

Mine just got fixed. Like :"On my way! " loool.

I just changed one of my shortcuts (I though it may need to update itself or rewrite the files or sth). Then after I restarted my phone, they all became active.

IDK if this will help, I turned documents off in icloud and they worked, but when I toggle or turn documents on....no luck. I read in a separate post to uninstall and then reinstall emoji.....I really don't want to delete and reenter all my shortcuts I have at least 10 for every letter. Has anyone tryed the emoji un/reinstall? I'm fine with the documents being off in icloud......for now. I hope this helps someone.

Find a post by Fletch9871. The fix I found there worked, and I am not very tech savvy.

This is crazy - once I notice my shortcuts aren't working - I can re-boot (turn my phone off and then back on) then the shortcuts will work for a few days again...and the POOF! No more shortcuts....ugh

Somehow we need to let Apple know. This is not isolated to Iphone 4 it's also on 5.

My shortcuts stopped working when I added the emoji keyboard. I deleted the emoji keyboard and my shortcuts started working again.

Just turned emoji keyboard back on and my shortcuts still work. Hope they continue to work.

Turning documents off in iCloud worked for me!!

I tried all of these suggestions and nothing workded for me. Here is what I think I did that finally worked.

Settings>general>Keyboard> keyboards>english,,,.changed it to qwertz and it worked, when I took it off that it did not work again. So I added the english/canada version, then hit edit and deleted the eglish-us version. checked, still worked then went back and added the english-us again and checked the qwerty and now it seems to be working. I hope this helps someone else. Let me know. Good Luck.
